ROXAS City – A 35-year-old man from Barangay Cagay, Roxas City who went missing for one week was arrested Sunday, Nov 14, 2021, for alleged possession of suspected shabu in Batangas Port.
Authorities seized the suspected illegal drugs from Erick John Neñeria after it was detected by K9 dogs in his luggage.
Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Philippine Ports Authority-Batangas, and Coast Guard Station Batangas (CJK9) arrested Neñeria.
Neneria’s name, however, was not on the list of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC), said Punong Barangay Arturo Aragon of Cagay village here.
Neñeria’s family were shocked upon learning of the incident from PDEA-Calabarzon.
The suspect will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
He is presently in the custody of PDEA-Batangas.
Last Nov 6, 2021, Editha Neneria reported to the Roxas City Police Station that her son Erick John went missing for about one week.
