BACOLOD City – Three persons, including a minor, were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental last Sunday.
Police identified the suspects as Neil Joseph Delima, 29, of the said village; and Bernard Quartel, 22, of Barangay Balaring proper. The name of the 15-year-old boy was withheld.
Confiscated from them were 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600, and the P2,100 marked money.
According to the police, Delima is listed as top 8 in the priority list of Silay City Police Station and is considered a street-level individual while Quartel is a newly-identified individual.
Meanwhile, the minor, who is a newly-identified individual, was turned over to the Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) for proper disposition.
