ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death visiting the wake of a relative Wednesday evening at Barangay Bailan, Pontevedra Capiz.
Dino (not his real name) died while being treated at Bailan District Hospital due to fatal stab wounds in the chest.
The suspects are Ariel Deita, 23, of Barangay Ambilay, Panitan; and Don Mark Estorque of Barangay Sinabsaban, Cuartero.
Investigation by the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station indicated that the victim and the two suspects were playing cards when a commotion occurred.
Dieta suddenly stood up, drew a knife, and allegedly stabbed the minor in the chest.
Rey Estorque, 36, of Barangay Sinabsaban, Cuartero saw the incident and tried to pacify his cousin Don Mark but he, too, was stabbed by Dieta.
Rey is now confined in a hospital.
