Minor nabbed for marijuana

BACOLOD City – A 14-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly using suspected marijuana inside his school at Barangay Zone-2, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental last Thursday.

Authorities withheld the name of the minor-suspect, who is a high school student.

Police records indicated that a school guard caught the minor allegedly using the contraband inside the comfort room.

Recovered from him were a sachet of suspected dried marijuana leaves, an improvised tooter, and a lighter.

The minor-suspect was endorsed to Cadiz City Police Station and was turned over to the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
