Minor killed in road mishap

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 17-year-old girl died after the motorcycle she was driving accidentally crashed into a car Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Angub, Cuartero, Capiz.

The girl is from Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Dumalag but has a house in Brgy. Angub. She suffered fatal injuries in different parts of her body.

According to Cuartero police, the victim was on her way home on a Honda XRM 125 motorcycle when she suddenly turned right and crashed into a Toyota Vios driven by Abe Castronuevo Morales, 51, of Brgy. Pob, Bingawan, Iloilo.

The victim was declared dead on arrival at Dao District Hospital.

The driver of the car is in the custody of Cuartero police.
