ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A 17-year-old teen died after his motorcycle accidentally collided with a truck Monday afternoon at Brgy. Tuburan, Maayon, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Mike Sean Villaruel and resident of Brgy. Maalan, Maayon.
Villaruel was on his way to Brgy. Hipona in Pontevedra when he met a truck driven by Arnold Librason, 32, of Brgy. Manayupit also of said town.
Librason was allegedly driving the truck too fast and swerved towards the left lane until he collided with the motorcycle.
Villaruel suffered fatal injuries on the head and other parts of his body.
He was taken to Bailan District Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
The driver and the truck are in the custody Maayon Municipal Police Station.
