BACOLOD City – An 11-year-old boy died of electrocution at Sitio Cansuy-ong, Barangay Novallas, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental Sunday.
Police withheld the name of the minor-victim.
Investigation showed that the victim along with other minors came from a market and were on their way home when he accidentally stepped on a live wire sagging on the road.
The victim fell to the ground and was unconscious.
Witnesses immediately sought assistance from the barangay electricians to cut the wire. The victim was rescued but he didn’t survive.
