Leading smart home solutions brand Midea, in partnership with Imperial Appliance Plaza, officially opened its new Cross Category Zone at Imperial Appliance Plaza on October 16, bringing its global-standard home innovations closer to Ilonggo consumers and nearby areas in the Visayas.
The new retail destination marks an important milestone in Midea’s regional expansion, offering a comprehensive shopping experience where consumers can explore the brand’s diverse range of appliances in one convenient location.
The showroom features a wide selection of Midea products designed for modern households — from refrigerators and air conditioners to washing machines, kitchen gas ranges, and small home appliances.
At the heart of the showcase is SMART MASTER, Midea’s range of smart home appliances designed to work together seamlessly.
As the World’s No. 1 Smart Home Appliances Brand, Midea advances its vision of smarter, more connected homes, giving consumers greater control while supporting more efficient and convenient household routines.
“We designed our products specifically for modern Filipino homes where maximizing space, lowering electricity costs, and ultimate convenience and reliability are top priorities,” said Anna Marie Alejandro, General Manager of Concepcion Midea Inc., Philippines.
“Through our growing presence in Western Visayas, we are bringing these smart home solutions closer to more Filipino households, making Simply Ideal living more accessible to the region,” she added.
The opening was attended by Hon. Lady Julie Grace Baronda, Vice Mayor of Iloilo City; Zeal Jiang, APAC Regional President of Midea International Business; Edgar Tiu and Edward Tiu of Imperial Appliance Plaza; and actress Bea Binene.
