A man tagged as one of Miagao’s most-wanted suspects was arrested on the afternoon of Dec. 15, 2025, police said.
The suspect, known by the alias Dodoy, 25, is a window installer from Barangay Guibongan in Miagao, a town in Iloilo province.
Police arrested him in connection with a sexual molestation case involving a minor.
Members of the Miagao Municipal Police Station served the warrant for qualified rape of a minor and acts of lasciviousness, authorities said.
The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 72 in Guimbal, Iloilo, on Dec. 15, 2025.
The court recommended no bail for the rape charge and set bail at PHP 180,000 for the acts of lasciviousness charge, police said.
Major Richard Lao, the Miagao police chief, said the suspect is the No. 2 most-wanted person in the area.
“The case against him was filed on July 2024,” Lao said.
Lao said the suspect is not related to the minor complainant.
Police said the suspect did not resist arrest.
He is being held at the Miagao police station and will be turned over to the court.
