Midel Alborte, 35, of Brgy. Tanza here entered the St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Church while the holy mass to be officiated by Fr. Digno Jore was about to start.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Gamin Unarce of the Roxas City police station, the church guard tried to stop Alborte from entering because he was not wearing a facemask.

Alborte then kicked some of the church’s belongings and pummelled some of the images with a piece of wood.

Some of the church belongings that were damaged were the Ambu-glass, candles, microphone, chalice, electric fan, chair, table, bible and some images.
