West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. has partnered with delaware Philippines to assess and upgrade its human resource systems as part of a broader digital transformation strategy.
The collaboration aims to streamline HR operations and improve employee experience through a comprehensive evaluation of current tools and the creation of a future-ready roadmap.
“Our people are at the heart of our operations, and by refining internal processes, we aim to deliver better support to employees across the organization,” said Martin B. De Guzman, Maynilad Head of Human Resources.
The joint initiative will evaluate key HR areas including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and workforce management to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
delaware Philippines will lead the three-month engagement, working closely with Maynilad’s HR and IT teams through workshops, consultations, and systems evaluations.
“We want to ensure that our platforms provide the necessary support for our employees, using current tools and approaches that are aligned with our operational context,” said Francisco Castillo, Maynilad’s Chief Information Officer and Head of Information Technology Services.
The project will result in a detailed roadmap outlining recommended enhancements, prioritized according to operational impact and feasibility.
According to Rosette Carrao, Partner and Managing Director of delaware Philippines, the initiative is designed to produce actionable, customized recommendations.
“This engagement is designed to provide Maynilad with a practical and structured view of how to evolve its HR systems in the coming years,” Carrao said.
delaware’s approach emphasizes real-world system usage, aligning recommendations with Maynilad’s internal workflows and employee needs.
Senior Vice President for Customer Success of delaware Philippines Simone Pigason noted that the project highlights a forward-thinking approach to HR transformation.
“This initiative reflects Maynilad’s proactive approach to keeping its systems responsive and adaptable, with a strong focus on employee support,” Pigason said.
The HR assessment forms part of Maynilad’s larger internal transformation program, which seeks to make corporate support functions more agile and responsive.
While no budget figures have been publicly disclosed, industry benchmarks suggest enterprise HR assessments and roadmaps of this scale can run into the millions of peso, depending on the implementation scope.
