A 45-year old man who was reportedly manhandled took revenge morning of May 22, 2020 in Pototan, Iloilo.
But Allan Parcon, a resident of Barangay Barasan, turned his ire not on his attackers but on their father.
Police accounts claimed that Parcon repeatedly shot his neighbor, 55-year-old Eden Dago-oc, after he saw the victim walking around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Police Major Ronnie Brillo, Pototan police chief, said there was no altercation that took place before the suspect fired a caliber .45 pistol at Dago-oc.
The victim suffered four gunshot injuries on the different parts of his body. He was immediately rushed to Iloilo Provincial Hospital for treatment.
The suspect fled.
Brillo said they did not see any motive apart from vengeance.
On Thursday evening, Parcon, who was allegedly drunk, was physically assaulted by Dago-oc’s children.
But Parcon did not report the incident to the police or lodged a complaint.
As of this writing, Parcon remains at large.
