ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A massage therapist and a tricycle driver were charged Monday for illegal drug peddling.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) were filed by police against Elena Domingo, 33, of Maayon, Capiz but temporarily residing here, and Randy Apruebo, 33, of Barangay Dayao here.
The two were arrested in a drug bust operation conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Ivisan PNP in Barangay Cudian, Ivisan, Capiz early Saturday morning.
Recovered from the suspects were seven sachets of suspected shabu with street value of P9,500; the P3,500 marked money, a cellphone, and a motorcycle.
The two are detained at the Ivisan Municipal Police Station.
