BACOLOD City – Three persons were arrested for allegedly engaging in illegal drugs, with a confiscation of P299,200 worth of suspected marijuana and suspected shabu in Negros Occidental from Aug 28 to 29, 2020.
In San Carlos City, Jover Alcoriza, 25, of Barangay Rizal was apprehended in a buy-bust at the said village last Saturday.
Police recovered from Alcoria 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 40 grams and worth P272,000; the P1,500 marked money, a weighing scale, plastic sachets, needle, blade, and straw.
Also arrested that day in a drug bust in Talisay City was Joselito Baleros of Barangay Bubog, a suspected street level peddler.
Authorities seized from him 15 sachets of suspected shabu weighing four grams and valued at P27,200, and the P500 marked money.
In Don Salvador Benedicto town, Clifford Arellano, 28, of Barangay Bunga was collared at Barangay Bagong Silang last Friday for alleged illegal possession of suspected marijuana.
Confiscated from him were two sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves, 10 suspected marijuana plants, a sachet of suspected marijuana seeds, the P300 marked money, a lighter, and P90.
