The Philippines’ top 3×3 players are ready to take the 2021 FIBA 3×3 Doha World Tour masters by storm after results of their RT-PCR came out negative for COVID-19.
Joshua Munzon, Alvin Pasaol, Troy Rike, and Santi Santillan are already cleared for basketball activity after the results came out and are currently focused on individual conditioning and film sessions.
After a championship-clinching season in the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup powered by TM, the star quartet will be looking to do the same and carry Manila Chooks past the other heavyweight competing clubs.
The Manila Chooks are going to face familiar faces in the 3×3 scene as Liman and UB from Serbia, Riga of Latvia, NY Harlem and Princeton of USA, Lausanne of Switzerland, Jeddah and Riyadh of Saudi Arabia, Kamakura and Yoyogi of Japan, Bielefeld of Germany, Utana of Lithuania, and home team Lusail will clash for the coveted title.
The winning team stands to win $40,000, $30,000 for the second-placers, $20,000 for the third, $12,000 for the fourth, and $6,000 for the fifth.
