MANGGAHAN FEST HIGHLIGHTS: Special Ro-Ro trips to cater to Guimaras-bound vehicles

Special trips of Ro-Ro vessels going to and from the Province of Guimaras will be in place from May 19-23, 2023 due to the expected influx of passengers heading to the island for the highlight of Manggahan Festival.

The Iloilo Commercial Port Complex in Loboc, Lapuz, Iloilo City will be utilized temporarily to avoid congestion at the Iloilo River Wharf in Lapuz Norte, Iloilo City.

One vessel of F.F. Cruz Shipping Corporation will cater these special trips.

The Philippine Ports Authority has issued guidelines for the said special trips.

Only four-wheel non-cargo vehicles can be catered at Iloilo Commercial Port Complex while Ro-Ro vessels that will stay at Iloilo River Wharf in Lapuz Norte can cater passengers and cargo vehicles.

The scheduled departure of ships from Iloilo Commercial Port Complex are: 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 in the morning; 1:30 and 3:30 in the afternoon.

The Philippine Ports Authority emphasized that walk-in passengers will not be allowed at the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex.
