BACOLOD City – The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) busted a man with 27 grams of suspected shabu worth P183,000 at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2 here yesterday.
Police identified the subject as Jonathan Estolano, 36, of the said village.
Police Lieutenant Joven Mogato, CDEU head, said that Estolano is an alleged drug personality based on their monitoring.
Mogato said that he is also a street-level individual after less than 50 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated from him.
Police also recovered from him the P1,000 marked money and P348.
Mogato said Estolano is a “first-time drug offender”, who was supposed to apply as a delivery rider.
Mogato said that they have already identified the suspect’s source of illegal drugs, who is just within the city.
“May gahatag lang na da sa iya, galing indi mabal-an kung taga diin ang iya mga customers,” he added.
Estolano is detained at Police Station 2 for the filing of charges for the sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
