BACOLOD City – A man who stabbed to death his wife expired at the hospital few hours after the incident happened at Brgy. 13, Victorias City, Negros Occidental last Thursday.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Eduardo Corpuz, city police chief, said Henry Biote, 53 died at the hospital around 9 p.m. after he underwent a surgery.
Biote stabbed himself after he also stabbed to death his wife, Noemi, 40, when they reportedly argued about the latter’s plan to be separated from him.
Corpuz said the suspect committed the crime since he alleged that his wife was having an affair with another man while she was working in a bar.
Corpuz also said that the victim had previous complaints before the Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) against her husband because of their frequent quarrels.
Their children were not at home when the incident happened.
