ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 54-year-old farmer wants to give himself up to authorities for allegedly killing his older brother Friday last week at Sitio Banahaw in Barangay San Juan, Jamindan, Capiz.
Jerry Lorenzo sent surrender feelers after the shooting to death of his brother Erwin Lorenzo.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Lou Jacinto Robles, Jamindan PNP investigator, the two were drinking before the incident happened.
But at the height of their drinking, a heated argument ensued between them.
Suddenly, the younger Lorenzo stood up and drew an unidentified gun caliber and shot his older brother.
The suspect immediately fled.
The victim was taken to Mambusao District Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
