ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A man wanted for the crime of rape was arrested Saturday morning by police in Ivisan, Capiz.
The Ivisan Municipal Police Station identified the suspect as Oliver Delos Santos Tugna, 30, of Barangay Agmalobo, Ivisan.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Roxas City Regional Trial Court Branch 14 Judge Faustino Roxas on April 30, 2021.
Tugna was not allowed to post bail.
Meanwhile, another wanted person was arrested by the Tapaz, Capiz and Tubungan Municipal Police Station at Barangay Balicua, Tubungan, Iloilo.
A case for violation of Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) was filed against Rodnel Espada of Barangay Katipunan, Tapaz but temporarily residing in Tubungan, Iloilo.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by RTC Branch 20 Judge Judith Orendain Tonogbanua of, Mambusao, Capiz on April 17, 2017.
He is presently detained at the Tapaz police station.
