BACOLOD City – A man who is currently on drug rehabilitation was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Old Poblacion, Escalante City, Negros Occidental Monday.
Gerald Salimbot, 21, of the said village is a suspected level one high value target of the police.
Salimbot allegedly sold shabu to a police agent for P500, police records showed.
Police also recovered from him five sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,000, and the P500 marked money.
He is detained at Escalante City Police Station for filing of charges for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
In Bacolod, Geovanni Bito-on, John Arnaiz, Jomar Templado, and Georgie Ann Relado were collared in a drug bust at Barangay 2 last Sunday, which resulted in the confiscation of 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P8,000, the P200 marked money, and drug paraphernalia. They are all detained at Police Station 7.
Also arrested here was Allan Estrella of Barangay 29, a high value target after police seized from him eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P15,000, the P300 marked money, and drug paraphernalia. He is detained at Police Station 1.
