Man stones brother to death

BACOLOD City – A family feud triggered a man to allegedly kill his elder brother at Barangay Bato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental Thursday, July 18.
Police identified the fatality as Henry Duma, 55.
Police Major James Latayon, town police chief, said a misunderstanding ensued in the family which led to a commotion.
Latayon said suspect Melvin Duma, 50, allegedly hit the victim on the head with a stone which caused his death.
Melvin fled but he was later arrested in a pursuit operation. He is detained at the police station for the filing of homicide charges.
