Man stabbed dead by younger brother after drinking session

BACOLOD City – Police are conducting a hot pursuit operation against a 34-year-old man who allegedly stabbed to death his older brother in Barangay Tiling, Cauayan, Negros Occidental last Saturday.

The victim was identified as Orly Estrabela, 37.

Based on police investigation, the victim and the suspect Ronel Estrabela, along with their other sibling, were having a drinking session at the suspect’s house when a commotion occurred between the victim and the suspect.

Police, however, did not elaborate further on what triggered the commotion.

The victim then left after they were pacified, but the suspect reportedly followed him and attacked him with a knife.

The suspect fled while the victim was brought to Cauayan District Hospital where he was declared dead.
