Man stabbed dead by neighbor

TAPAZ, Capiz – A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death by a neighbor evening of Sept. 10 at Barangay San Nicolas here.

Police identified the victim as Noel Mendoza who succumbed to a fatal stab wound on his chest.

Investigation conducted by Tapaz police indicated that Mendoza came from a benefit dance together with neighbor Ramil Galagate, 21, when a heated argument ensued between them.

Galagate suddenly drew a knife from his waist and stabbed the victim.

The victim was brought to Tapaz District Hospital but died while being treated. The suspect fled and is now the subject of a police manhunt.
