ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 50-year-old farmer was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law Saturday evening inside his house at Barangay Caridad in Jamindan, Capiz.
The police identified the victim as Edilberto Nobleza who suffered multiple hack and stab wounds in his body.
Investigation by the Jamindan Municipal Police Station indicated that Nobleza was sleeping in the sala of his house when suspect Rodulfo Patricio, 70, suddenly entered with a bolo in his hand and attacked the victim.
The suspect immediately fled bringing with him the bolo.
Police launched a manhunt operation against Patricio. The motive of the incident has yet to be determined.
