BACOLOD City – Drunkenness led to the death of a man who was stabbed by his companion at Barangay San Miguel, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental last Wednesday.
Killed was Albert Lacsinto, 43, of the said village.
Lacsinto and the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Arnel Tacuyo, were drinking liquor at the victim’s house when a heated argument erupted.
Tacuyo left the house and returned with a bolo. He then shouted at the victim urging him to go out of his house.
As Lacsinto went out with a cane cutter, the suspect allegedly attacked and stabbed his abdomen.
Tacuyo then fled while the victim was declared dead on arrival at a hospital.
Police recovered from the scene a bolo and a cane cutter.
