Man shoots brother to death

ROXAS City – A 38-year-old farmer was shot dead by his younger brother Saturday afternoon at Sitio Caraman in Barangay Lawaan, Dumarao, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Joe-Ar Dela Cruz of said place.
Based on the investigation by Dumarao PNP, the suspect identified as Soren Dela Cruz, 29, of Brgy. Bungsuan in said town remains at large.
Soren got mad at Joe-Ar after the former smashed his motorcycle with a hammer, which led to a fistfight between the two.
The suspect then drew a still unidentified gun and shot his brother’s chest which led to the latter’s death.
Soren was about to return to Iloilo where he worked as a security guard when the incident happened
Meanwhile, Joe-Ar’s family will no longer file charges against Soren, according to the Dumarao Municipal Police Station.
