Killed was Dominador Tecson, 30, of the said village.
Police Master Sergeant Robert Castro, investigator of Sipalay City Police Station, said the victim was waiting for a bus when the gunman suddenly appeared and shot him at close range.
Castro said the victim succumbed to two gunshot wounds in the hips and head.
Castro said the victim just got out of jail after he served his sentence for frustrated murder.
“One month pa lang siya na nakaguwa sa presuhan,” he added.
He said the victim had no record in the barangay or involvement in any illegal activity.
