A man and his nephew were arrested for rape charges morning of Aug 8, 2020 in Culasi, Antique.
The suspects were identified as Vicente Estrella and Leonardo Estrella, 56, both residents of Barangay Balac-Balac, Culasi town.
Members of Culasi Police Station nabbed Vicente 10 am Saturday by virtue of an arrest warrant for rape in Criminal Case No. 20-C-0039-CR.
Judge Josefina Muego issued the warrant on August 5, 2020. No bail was set for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, Leonardo was also collared 15 minutes after Vicente’s arrest. He is also facing a rape case docketed as CC No. 20-C-0040-CR.
The two suspects were charged separately by the same complainant.
They are now detained.
