Seized from his possession were five ammunitions for a 12-gauge shotgun, a 9-inch knife, and a butane canister.
In its press release, the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) stated that Diamante and a certain alias Alog, 25 of Barangay Tanza-Bonifacio, City Proper, were caught in a pot session,
However, there were no illegal drugs taken from Diamante while Alog and another person, possibly a minor, evaded arrest.

Alog and the “minor” quickly scampered while police were left to arrest Diamante.

Diamante is now detained and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and City Ordinance No. 138 for Carrying a Deadly Weapon.
