ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A man was arrested for collecting bets for illegal gambling known as Small Town Lottery (STL) Pick 3 Thursday morning at Brgy. Salcedo Dumarao, Capiz.
The team from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-Capiz) collared Mamerto Gadia of said place.
Recovered from Gadia were P770 cash, bet lists, and several gambling paraphernalia.
The suspect was brought to CIDG-Capiz for detention while charges for violation of Republic Act 9287 (Anti-Gambling Law) were filed against the suspect.
