ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 40-year-old man was arrested late Tuesday afternoon for alleged possession of P40,000 worth of illegal drugs in Rizal Street, Barangay 7, here.
Police identified the suspect as Quintin Gregorio of said barangay.
Recovered from Gregorio were 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 6 grams; the P1,100 marked money and a wallet.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of the Capiz Police Provincial Office.
According to PMaj Francisco Paguia, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) team leader, Gregorio is a newly identified drug suspect.
Gregorio is presently detained at the Roxas City police and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
