A 52-year-old man was arrested in a police anti-illegal drug operation morning of Oct 2, 2022 in Pavia, Iloilo.
Police identified the suspect as Armando Huele, a resident of Barangay Purok 4, Pavia, the place where the buy-bust operation was conducted.
Members of the Pavia Municipal Police Station nabbed Huele after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.
Recovered from the suspect were five sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P75,000.
According to Major Rolando Araño, Pavia police chief, Huele had been incarcerated for a drug-related offense in 2016.
Araño said he was released two years later following the dismissal of his case.
Three weeks ago, police received reports that he was into the illegal drug trade.
Araño said they made a test buy and it turned out positive.
Reports said the suspect is getting his supply from a source in Iloilo City.
His area of operation is limited to Pavia town.
Huele is now detained and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
