BACOLOD City – Anger triggered a man to kill his brother-in-law, who allegedly harassed his family every time he was drunk, at Barangay Sta. Teresa, Manapla, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
The victim was identified as Joel Villarias, 52, of the said village.
According to the police, the victim was drunk when he figured into a heated argument with the suspect identified as Artimio Seballos, 57.
The suspect then allegedly shot the victim and fled.
Police Major Jaynick Bermudez, town police chief, said the suspect probably had enough of the victim’s behavior.
The victim’s family will not press charges against the suspect, according to Bermudez.
