BACOLOD City – A man, who came from a birthday party died after his motorcycle crashed into a cargo truck parked at Sitio Tara, Barangay Carabalan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental last Wednesday.
Police identified the victim as Sevrin Octavio Jr., 36, of the said village.
Investigation showed that Octavio was allegedly speeding on his way home when the accident happened.
He was allegedly drunk and was not wearing a helmet.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The truck driver identified as Allen Bayles, 35, of the said village, surrendered to the police.
