A 40-year-old man accused of rape was arrested afternoon of June 24, 2021 in Estancia, Iloilo.
Nordel Lisud was nabbed at his home at Barangay Tacbuyan, Estancia. His apprehension came months after the arrest of his two co-accused.
Members of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Iloilo Provincial Field Unit, 606th Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6, Iloilo Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Branch, and Estancia Police Station arrested Lisud by virtue of arrest warrant in Criminal Case No. 2019-9196.
Judge Oscar Leo Billena of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66 in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo issued the arrest warrant on Oct. 11, 2019 with no bail recommended.
Lisud is the sixth most wanted person in Estancia town.
The suspect, along with two companions, allegedly molested a 28-year-old woman on Jan. 10, 2019 at Calumpang Poblacion Zone II, Estancia.
Lisud is now in the custody of CIDG-Iloilo.
