ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A farmer was injured after he was hit on the head with a stone by his son while sitting inside their house Thursday afternoon, March 26, in Barangay Jeana Sur, Jamindan, Capiz.
The police identified the victim as alias “Moroy,” of legal age, while the suspect was alias “Boy,” 21, both from the same place.
Reports from the Jamindan Municipal Police Station said that while the victim was sitting in a chair, his son arrived, took a stone and hit him on the head.
The victim was immediately brought to Mambusao District Hospital and later transferred to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital for further treatment.
It was learned that the suspect is suffering from a mental disorder.
