BACOLOD City – A man was shot dead by four unidentified men at Barangay San Isidro, Toboso, Negros Occidental last Sunday.
Police identified the victim as Eddie Gumban, 54, of Barangay Poblacion.
Gumban arrived at a garage on board a motorcycle when one of the armed men approached and shot him in the head.
The other three perpetrators also allegedly opened fire at the victim before fleeing on board motorcycles parked on the roadside.
Gumban succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds that caused his immediate death. He will be subjected to a postmortem examination.
Police have yet to determine the motive of the incident.
