DAO, Capiz – A person who was once involved in illegal drugs was arrested Monday afternoon, October 9, in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Dao, Capiz.
Ronald Dolorico, 38, of said village, cooperated with the police after three sachets of suspected shabu and the P500 marked money were recovered from his possession.
Police records indicated that Dolorico had been arrested for the same offense but he was released from jail after availing of a plea bargaining agreement in 2017.
The operation was jointly conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Dao PNP and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO).
Dolorico is presently in the custody of Dao Municipal Police Station while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against him.
