ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 24-year-old man was arrested Thursday afternoon for alleged gun running.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Capiz led the sting operation against Joseph Cristobal Apaap of Brgy. Tanque.
The buy-bust was conducted at Sitio Kabulakan, Brgy. Cogon, here.
Recovered from Apaap was a homemade shotgun with magazine and two live ammunitions, the P100 marked money, and fake money bills.
Apaap told operatives that a certain alias ‘Uno’ asked him to sell the gun in exchange for a commission.
The suspect said he agreed to sell the gun to earn money as his pregnant live-in partner is about to give birth.
