ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 43-year-old person died from accidental electrocution during a videoke session Monday night at Brgy. Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Rodel Buendia of said place.
Investigation by Pilar Municipal Police Station indicated that the victim was on a drinking binge and singing using a videoke machine with friends Florete Bedeo and Angelo Bedeo when he accidentally touched the peeled portion of a live extension cord that led to his electrocution.
The victim was taken to Bailan District Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
