Man dies of electrocution

BACOLOD City – A man died after he was electrocuted in a pond at Barangay Luna, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental yesterday.
Police identified the fatality as Rolando Flores, 34, of the said village.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Robert Mansueto, city police chief, said that Flores and his two companions were harvesting fish from the pond around 8 a.m.
Flores was holding a bamboo pole when it reportedly hit the distribution wire of the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. (Noneco).
The victim was taken to Cadiz City Emergency Clinic where he was pronounced dead.
