Man dead in drive-by shooting

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 39-year-old man was shot dead by an unidentified suspect while standing on the road Thursday morning at Sitio Kalye 13 in Barangay Tabuc, Pontevedra, Capiz.

The police identified the victim as Rodulfo Bagares of said place who suffered a fatal gunshot wound in his right chest.

Investigation conducted by Pontevedra police indicated that Bagares was standing on the road when an unidentified suspect drove by and shot the victim. 

Witnesses told the police that a short firearm, believed to be a .9mm pistol, was used in the shooting. Bagares was declared dead on arrival in a hospital.
