ROXAS CITY, Capiz A 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging Saturday afternoon inside his house at Barangay San Pedro, Pilar, Capiz.
Jomar Balbada left a suicide note before ending his life.
Investigation conducted by Pilar Municipal Police Station indicated that Jack Lord Balbada was shocked when he saw Jomar hanging by his neck from their ceiling.
The suicide note indicated that Jomar could no longer endure his aching right hand which was fractured after he punched a concrete wall.
Jomar allegedly punched the wall after a spat with his girlfriend.
Jomar also asked his family to bury his body on June 19, 2019.
The Department of Health, together with the World Health Organization, and Natasha Goulbourn Foundation launched Hopeline, a 24/7 suicide prevention hotline.
