ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A jobless man was allegedly caught in the act of stealing a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon, July 19, at Barangay Bailan, Pontevedra, Capiz.
Ronnie Tumlos of Barangay Hipona Pontevedra town was caught by Walden Bibit, a member of the Traffic Management Unit of Pontevedra.
Bibit ordered Tumlos to stop and alight from the motorcycle after noticing that the Motorstar 125 motorcycle had no registration plate.
But Bibit failed to present valid registration documents for the motorcycle.
A few seconds later, Arque Dacles, 29, of Barangay Bailan, Pontevedra arrived and confirmed that he is the owner of the motorcycle.
Bibit was immediately arrested and is presently in the custody of Pontevedra Municipal Police Station.
The motorcycle was turned over to Dacles after he presented the proper documents.
