Man caught for carrying unlicensed gun

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— An 18-year-old man was arrested for carrying an unlicensed firearm early Tuesday morning at Brgy. Amaga, Sigma, Capiz.
The Barangay Police Auxiliaries Team (BPAT) and Sigma town police collared Francisco dela Cruz of Brgy. Mianay, Sigma.
Recovered from dela Cruz was a 12-guage shotgun tucked in his waist. He was also caught wearing a “Police” shirt.
Dela Cruz will be charged for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and violation of Article 179 of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines for the unauthorized use of the PNP shirt.
The suspect is now detained at Sigma police station.
