Man, 72, nabbed for rape rap

The topmost wanted person of Pilar town in Capiz was arrested late morning of June 14, 2022.
Felomino Baniola, 72, was arrested at his home at Purok 3, Barangay San Nicolas, Pilar.
A widow, Baniola was accused of sexually molesting a minor two years ago.
The complainant’s relative pushed for the filing of the criminal complaint against the suspect.
Members of the Pilar Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company served the warrant of arrest against Baniola for the crime of rape docketed as Criminal Case No. C-135-22.
Judge Faustino Valenzuela Roxas, Jr. of the Regional Trial Court 6 (RTC-6) Branch 14, Roxas City, Capiz issued the arrest warrant on May 31, 2022.
No bail was recommended for Baniola’s temporary liberty.
The accused is now in the custody of Pilar PNP.
