MAMBUSAO’S NEW MUNICIPAL HALL UNVEILED!

HOLIDAY fever was in high pitch when my hometown, the progressive Municipality of Mambusao in Capiz finally unveiled its new municipal hall in a festive blessing ceremony.

Under the leadership of Mambusao Mayor Leodegario “Jun” Labao, the old municipal hall is now a modern edifice.

The festive day graced by no less than Capiz Governor Esteban “Nonoy” Contreras and Vice Gov. James “Mitang” Magbanua commenced with the first morning flag-raising ceremony followed by the blessing rites by Mambusao Parish priest Emil Arbatin.

Highlighting the historic event was a sumptuous luncheon at the airconditioned cultural center where the topnotch guests led by Madame Bing Juaneza of the office of President Rodrigo Duterte. Miss Juaneza represented guest speaker Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” J. Go.

As Mayor Labao said, “this is the best Christmas gift to all my beloved kasimanwas as more projects will be realized soon especially to the far-flung villages to augment the income of the farm to market advocacy of our beloved President Rodrigo Duterte. God bless us in this time of darkest pandemic moments.”
