Mall worker found dead inside room

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 25-year-old mall worker was found dead inside his room at Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Tanque here.

Police identified the victim as Zaldy Ta-ay of Barangay Dulangan Pilar, Capiz.

According to Ta-ay’s landlady, it was around 3:20 a.m. Thursday when another boarder of the house heard the victim moan inside his room.

The boarder ignored the incident, but few hours later, the victim continued to moan. The boarder also heard Ta-ay’s phone ring.

The boarder checked Ta-ay’s room and found the latter already stiff.

The victim was taken to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital but the attending physician declared him dead on arrival.
