A majority of Filipinos expressed support for the November 30 demonstrations held against alleged corruption in government infrastructure projects, according to a new national survey released by public opinion firm WR Numero.
The protests, held on Bonifacio Day, specifically targeted irregularities in flood control projects and other corruption issues.
According to the WR Numero Philippine Public Opinion Monitor for November 2025, 58% of Filipinos supported the protests – 12% said they were “strongly supportive,” while 46% described themselves as “supportive”.
In contrast, 18% of respondents said they did not support the demonstrations, with 15% identifying as “unsupportive” and 3% as “strongly unsupportive.”
Another 24% of Filipinos remained undecided on their stance toward the protests.
The survey was conducted from November 21 to 28, 2025, through face-to-face interviews with a nationally representative sample of 1,412 adult Filipinos.
The poll has a national margin of error of ±2.8 percentage points.
“These findings form part of the WR Numero Philippine Public Opinion Monitor, Volume 2025, Issue 5,” the research group said in its release.
The November edition of the opinion monitor also covers Filipino sentiment toward the ongoing flood corruption scandal, the work of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure investigations, public performance ratings of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Vice President Sara Duterte, members of Congress and the judiciary, as well as views on the International Criminal Court proceedings and national policy priorities.
